Campers need to bring a towel, bathing suit and sunscreen each day. Please mark all items and clothing brought to camp with your child's name or an identifiable mark so we can return forgotten items.
Campers will be taken to Hancock North Central Elementary for lunch. Your child may bring a lunch if he/she does not want to eat the cafeteria lunch. Money to purchase a beverage or concessions should be sent daily if you would like your child to purchase snacks.
The purpose of Country Acres is to provide your child with a safe and healthy environment. We provide activities which encourage active exercise and fitness in a safe, well supervised environment.
Your child will be under the supervision of Camp Counselors at all times throughout the day. These caregivers have been checked through the Director of the Child Abuse Registry and have had a Criminal Background Check completed. There are also several certified teachers employed to care and supervise the activities throughout the day.
All medications are stored in a locked cabinet in a room children are not allowed. Only the Director or the Designee will dispense medications to the appropriate children provided by and per the permission forms.
If Medical care for treatment of a illness or an accident are required - the following procedures will be taken - assess the seriousness of the injury, Call the parent and/or call the EMR.
In Case of a disaster, we will notify the parents immediately and/or we will take all campers to the Hancock High School as the designated evacuation location.
