Day to Day Camping Fun
Located on 72 acres in beautiful Kiln, Mississippi…Country Acres Summer Camp offers everything a child needs for a memorable summertime adventure! Campers learn skill-building, teamwork, friendship, and fun! Not to mention horseback riding, swimming, canoeing, fishing and much more! Country Acres Summer Camp is affordable and close to home. Boys and Girls ages 6-12.
Fees: Day Camp is closed.
$40 One-time registration $125 Weekly session $35 Daily rate
Transportation is an additional $5.00 per day.

Day camp begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m.
Campers must bring their own lunch.
Campers dropped off in the morning should not arrive before 8:45 a.m. unless prior arrangements have been made with the camp director.
Campers riding the camp bus should be at the designated bus stop at the time indicated. Waveland K-Mart parking lot, 8:00 a.m., parking lot across from Diamondhead Community Center, 8:20 a.m., Diamondhead water tower 8:30 a.m. (Additional stops may be arranged by talking to the camp director.)
Campers will be assigned to groups according to age for morning activities. (If a camper is attending with a friend and is assigned to a different group, we can change the group assignment to accommodate them.)
Activity schedule:
9:15 a.m. – 11:00a.m. Morning activities: Horseback riding, canoeing/fishing, archery, recreational game(s). Each group of campers will rotate through these activities.
11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Swimming or other activities that are available during this time.
12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Lunch break
1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. A schedule of afternoon activities will be posted each day. Campers may choose what they want to participate in during this block of time.
2:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Get ready to go home
Campers will need to bring a towel and a bathing suit each day. (Please put the camper’s name on ALL clothing items as they will be changing their clothes. Having their names on what belongs to them makes it easier for them to claim at the end of the day.) Closed in shoes should be worn for morning activities. Flip-flops can be brought but should not be worn to camp. Putting all belongings in a book bag helps the camper keep their things together.
