Sleep Away Camp

Located on 72 acres in beautiful Kiln, Mississippi…Country Acres Summer Camp offers everything a child needs for a memorable summertime adventure!  Campers learn skill-building, teamwork, friendship, and fun!  Not to mention horseback riding, swimming, canoeing, fishing and much more!  Country Acres Summer Camp is affordable and close to home. Boys and Girls ages 6-12.

Fee:

$500 for a weekly session beginning Sunday and ending Friday.

Sessions:

July 7 and July 14

 

What campers can expect:

Campers will arrive on Sunday at 3:00 p.m.  Upon arrival campers will go to the bunk room and select their bunk. After everyone has checked in there will be a get acquainted meeting. Dinner will be served following the meeting. The evening will conclude with swimming and/or some other activities.

Campers must be ready for breakfast by 8:15 a.m.

Morning activities begin at 9:00 a.m. Campers will be assigned to groups for morning activities which include: horseback riding, archery, canoeing/fishing, recreational game(s). Morning activities will be followed by swimming and other announced activities. Lunch will be served at noon.  Scheduled activities will continue at the conclusion of the lunch break.

Campers will have time to go to their rooms to have some down time at the end of the daily activities.

Dinner will be served each day at approximately 6:00 p.m. (This may vary slightly due to the scheduled evening activities.)

Evening activities may include horseback riding, hide and seek in the dark, swimming, campfire, talent show, skit night, and more.

Campers will be in their rooms by 10:00 p.m.
